TRAINING TOY PUPPIES

Purpose: To help owners and trainers to teach young toy puppies their basic lessons with a little dog twist.

Course Information: This course is designed to ensure that Toy Puppies learn their basic manners to help them grow up to be secure and well mannered companions. Students will learn: the training equipment; lift and emergency lift; attention/auto check in; leave it; chewing and mouthing; handling; walking on a lead; sit and stay; come when called; emergency come; meeting new people and animals (in and outside of the carrier); settle; and, socialization.

Prerequisites: Basic understanding of clicker training & lure/reward methods.

Required Equipment: Toy Dog Training Equipment is an additional $75.00. The right tools are necessary to gain the desired results. This kit includes 2 clickers; a retractable target stick; a step-in harness; 6 foot leather shoelace lead; and the Training & Behavior Manual for Toy Dog Instructors (Carranco, S.) This training kit will be used in all the toy dog courses and needs to be purchased only once. Order NOW! specify the class you are taking, and where you want the materials sent. TOY DOG HOUSE AND CRATE TRAINING

Purpose: To have a reliable house trained dog, who also likes the crate for security & comfort.

Course Information: House training the toy breed dog seems like a challenge and to some impossible. Toy dogs are different but also have their advantages over larger breeds. They are popular with city and apartment dwellers. Having them taught to be reliable on various surfaces gives the toy dog its advantages.

Prerequisites: None
