PT206: Business Visioning and Development for Dog Professionals

Ideally, your business is an expression of your passionate, heart-felt desire to make a real difference in the world of dogs. This course will take you through the steps to create a clear and inspired vision that will lay the foundation for your future or existing business. Through a process of intuitive discovery, you will learn your real purpose, define your unique contribution to the world of dogs, and engage in a process to help overcome the limiting beliefs that stand in the way of abundant success. When this process is complete, you will have everything you need for the next stage of planning an organic strategy to build your inspired business, covered in the next course, PT207. This course is lively, fun, intuitive and an exciting way to help you discover an authentic expression of your dream.

Instructor Profile: Kathy Kawalec owns and operates Dancing Hearts Holistic Learning Center, where she facilitates deep and profound connections between people and their animals. Kathy is a Certified Tellington TTouch Practitioner, Holistic Animal Behavior & Well-being Consultant, Intuitive Interspecies Communicator, Intuition Development teacher, Business Development mentor, Herding Dog coach, Reiki Master Teacher and Shamanic Healing Practitioner.

Kathy’s corporate education and background is Kathy Kawalec in marketing and business management in the graphic arts industry, where she spent 30 years gathering solid experience, with the last 15 years serving in upper level and executive management of a successful commercial printing corporation. She is a life-long student of the intuitive healing arts, of spirituality, of building effective human-animal relationships, and of developing compassionate understanding between individuals and between species. For more than 30 years, Kathy has gathered academic, practical and teaching experience in these areas, and has operated her business for nearly 10 years.

Through private consulting and teaching workshops and classes both in person and in virtual classrooms, Kathy shares her experience and knowledge in all of these areas with those seeking to learn, grow and evolve as individuals, holistic healing arts practitioners, business owners and citizens of the world.

For Credit-You will participate fully in
the class with required homework and tests.
You will send in video homework to learn
"hands on" with the instructor examining and providing individualized feedback, attention and assistance on course material.

Audited-You will participate fully in
the class with no required homework or tests.
The instructor will not provide any assistance
out of class such as viewing your videos in
order to be able to give you individualized
feedback.

NOTE: We will be providing Certification for Professional Dog Trainers in the near future (planned for FALL of 2008). This course is worth 3 credits and can be applied to Certifcation once we are approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Only the "For Credit" courses can be applied to Certification.
