DH207: Holistic Dog Level I

Learn and apply the core healing arts modalities for enhancing the well-being of dogs. This course provides a basic introduction to Overview of Holistic Animal Well-being; the Nature of Energy work; Interspecies Intuitive Communication; Understanding Chakras and the art of Reiki. Also included will be short introductions to Aromatherapy, Crystal and Gemstone Healing and Tellington Touch.

Prerequisites: None

Course Length: This course meets once a week for 8 weeks. Each class is 60 minutes. All times are CST.

Instructor Profile: Kathy Kawalec owns and operates Dancing Hearts Holistic Learning Center, where she facilitates deep and profound connections between people and their animals. Kathy is a Certified Tellington TTouch Practitioner, Holistic Animal Behavior & Well-being Consultant, Intuitive Interspecies Communicator, Intuition Development teacher, Business Development mentor, Herding Dog coach, Reiki Master Teacher and Shamanic Healing Practitioner. Kathy is a certified Tellington Ttouch™ instructor.

Kathy’s corporate education and background is Kathy Kawalec in marketing and business management in the graphic arts industry, where she spent 30 years gathering solid experience, with the last 15 years serving in upper level and executive management of a successful commercial printing corporation. She is a life-long student of the intuitive healing arts, of spirituality, of building effective human-animal relationships, and of developing compassionate understanding between individuals and between species. For more than 30 years, Kathy has gathered academic, practical and teaching experience in these areas, and has operated her business for nearly 10 years.

Through private consulting and teaching workshops and classes both in person and in virtual classrooms, Kathy shares her experience and knowledge in all of these areas with those seeking to learn, grow and evolve as individuals, holistic healing arts practitioners, business owners and citizens of the world.

presentation "OnDemand"- at your
own pace. Click on "Recorded Session"
under "Register for Recorded Class" to
your left.

2. Choose between:
For Credit-You will participate fully in
the class with required homework and tests.
You will send in video homework to learn
"hands on" with the instructor examining and providing individualized feedback, attention and assistance on course material.

Audited-You will participate fully in
the class with no required homework or tests.
The instructor will not provide any assistance
out of class such as viewing your videos in
order to be able to give you individualized
feedback.

NOTE: We will be providing Certification for Professional Dog Trainers in the near future (planned for FALL of 2008). This course is worth 4 credits and can be applied to Certifcation once we are approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Only the "For Credit" courses can be applied to Certification.
