How to END Problem Behaviors
Certification Course through the IACC

Purpose: To address the most common canine problem behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques.

Course Info: This course is for people who will be working with dogs who have one or more bad habits. The top problem behaviors are jumping, house-training, pulling on the leash, excited or fearful IACCLOGOurination, too excited with visitors, barking, digging, hates being left at home, bothering its people during dinner, guarding food, getting in the garbage (or places he is not supposed to be),and stealing food from counters. Learn how to END these behaviors.

Prerequisites: Positive Techniques Training Kit (highly recommended...see below).

Course Length: 6 one-hour sessions

  • Help people learn how to live with the well mannered dog knowing how to stop any unwanted future behaviors as well.
  • Accreditation and Diploma from the International Animal Care College.
  • Credit toward the Associate Dog Trainers Diploma
  • Eligible to apply for membership in the Associate Professional Pet Care Specialist (APPCS)

NOTE: There is an additional $130.00 cost for a Positive Techniques Training Kit that is highly recommended for this course. The proper tools are essential for the proper results. This cost is way below what you would pay retail. If you have previously taken a course in the Positive Reinforcement Series, you will NOT need to buy the Kit again. You will, however, need to order the Ending Problem Behavior-Instruction Manual ($20). The Kit includes the following special training tools to be shipped to you after you register:

  • 1-limited slip collar
  • 3-stuffable food toys
  • 1-Ending Problem Behavior Instruction Manual
