Instructor: Sue Anne Wilson (JackRsls@cs.com) has been involved
with training animals and the people who love them for over 30 years. Working with Arabian horses and 4H she professed to be a people trainer, not a horse trainer... and used the animals to teach owners and riders self confidence, determination and communication.
Sue has been involved with Jack Russell terriers for ten years, and is known as WEST ELK TERRIERS. She serves as Co-chair on the National Trial Committee of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America. Sue Anne and her husband have hosted ten years of terrier trials for up to 300 dogs at each event. She enjoys spending time with her terriers, appreciates them as a working breed and is out in the field hunting them whenever possible.
Her passion is raising limited litters of puppies. Her mission is to produce quality canines based on correct conformation and genetics, and to give those puppies the best possible start into life. Sue Anne recognizes that not every puppy grows into a show or working champion; rather they are blessed to become companions and be placed into pet homes, and those dogs deserves to be given the skills and training to be successful in all those roles.
She believes through her studies and hands-on experience that the lifelong relationship each dog has with humans for its lifetime is greatly influenced by the first 12 weeks of life. This has led her to develop this course on Imprinting and Bonding puppies. Her unique combination of set ups, exercises, insights and training are shared in this course for all who are interested in understanding and taking the time to appreciate what it takes to rear a litter of socialized, healthy puppies that will grow into special, loved partners with humans.
