Pet Dog Trainer and Behavioral Consultant
This Certificate/Diploma is designed for students interested in becoming a Professional Pet Dog Trainer. The courses in this Certificate/Diploma, will provide the student with a history of the relationship between dogs and humans, a thorough understanding of canine body language and how our body language is perceived by dogs, and, an understanding of learning theory and how to apply it using positive reinforcement techniques to train basic behaviors.
Certificate/Program Goals
• Learn how the history of the dog and his relationship with humans effects today’s dog’s behavior and our relationships
today.
• The ability to understand how dogs communicate, their body language and how knowing this can make for better
relationships with humans and other dogs.
• The ability to understand how dogs learn and how to use that knowledge to train a dog using positive reinforcement and to enhance the relationship between a dog and his human family.

Time Frame: Can be completed at your convenience but the entire Certification must be completed within one year of the start date of the first course. LIVE courses are a specified length of time and must be completed within that time period.
What you will earn:
- The IACCETD—Professional Pet Dog Trainer Diploma will be provided when all required courses have been satisfactorily
completed. International courses will be slightly more expensive due to verification/accreditation costs. - Ability to use IACCETD PCS (Pet Dog Trainer-Behavioral Consultant) after your name.
