Associate in Canine Science and Behavior Certificate

The Master Dog Training program at e-Training for Dogs, Inc., encompasses the key areas of study for current canine professionals who desire to enhance their knowledge of dogs or for those individuals who intend to make dog training a career. Just like a college degree, you will be expected to have Core Knowledge in a few specific areas and General Knowledge in several areas. To earn this Certificate, you will need to become competent in key areas: Dog Health; Breeding and Genetics; Dog Behavior; Dogs and Society; and Professional Dog Training Business skills.

Program Goals:

  • Ability to think critically and problem solve to facilitate canine learning and to strengthen the human-canine bond;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people and canines; 
  • Ability to understand and influence dog behavior;
  • Ability to demonstrate the understandings and perspectives of a person educated in the science of canine ethology;
  • Ability to understand a variety of training concepts and methods;
  • Ability to respond thoughtfully to the diversity of canines, their humans, and the canine-human interaction;
  • Preparation to lead productive, contributing lives and careers in the Canine Professional world.

MDT Registration Fee: $50.00

After MDT Registration, you will be contacted to make an appointment to meet with an adviser by phone to discuss your initial plan of study and current placement in the program.
